Literature Text

'Aristocrats beautifully attired
In a world filled with the smell of roses.

There lived two clans,
One, who believed that death brings everlasting happiness.
The others seek eternal life.

One day, both dreams become reality,
The others would never be destroyed
They were forced to live in loneliness,
like a never ending punishment.

June 2007.

The others time had come.
Descendants of the rose appeared.
Within meaning,
the memory of that day came flooding back
And the story begins.'

~Intro for The Revenant Choir, by Versailles.

The Descendants of the Rose gathered that day. How they knew to do so or why they did it was unknown. But the instinctual urge that guided each of them separately to that mansion was more than they could suppress. And within that elegant mansion they met him.
He was to be their leader and their guardian. He explained to them what they were and how they would live in eternal loneliness. They were told how illness and injury could kill them, and that death for a Descendant was a painful ordeal. They were no longer allowed to be among humanity, for what would mortals think about being that couldn't age? Therefore they couldn't leave the mansion without consent.
They agreed, but in their hearts they were rebellious. None wanted to leave the world they had lived in behind. Each of them tried to kill the guardian that destiny had assigned them.
The White Rose was the first to attempt to assassinate their protector. He was the one to open the coffin and stab the guardian in the heart. To the Rose's grave surprise their guardian still lived.
The Black Rose shot the guardian in the stomach. The Descendants all watched as he fell, only to find him sitting in the dining hall the next day.
The Violet Rose attempted to use a spell to kill the Red Rose, their guardian. But he gained as much success as the others.
The Pink Rose chose to poison the guardian's wine. They had all watched in anticipation as he drank from the glass only to pale when he gave them a knowing look and gave a toast to eternal life.
It was then that they realized the gift that had been granted to them. The ability to live forever. They pledged to overcome the loneliness cursed to their bloodline together and to cleanse the world with beautiful music.

'The Decedents join their ancestors
In an eternity of loneliness,
She was one who believed in death.'

~Outro for The Revenant Choir, by Versailles.
Fan-fiction about the best band in the world: Versailles!
I do not own Versailles or any of their works (sadly...).
I hope you enjoyed this, please check the first chapter and I beg for comments XD.
The idea of this was taken from the PV for The Revenant Choir, where all the band memebers seem to be attempting to kill the immortal Kamijo...
